Natalie waited quietly in the training area, waiting for her guest to arrive, smoking a cigarette. She was in her typical outfit; a pair of green Army Issue, steel toed Jungle Boots, a pair of extremely cut off jean shorts held up by an Army mesh belt, a black crop top that was a little too short and showed off her toned stomach, but her pistol holsters and Barretta’s were strangely absent. She was learning more and more that those weapons were more for show and tell than actual combat, and Erek had said to try to not be threatening with handling Seraphina, so it was also a step in that direction as well. Still, her father’s dogtags dangled on their bracelets, a thin beaded metal bracelet keeping them on her wrists, and that would allow her to create her weapons, something she had been practicing with a lot lately. Her deep maroon hair was tied back in a low ponytail, and her amber eyes were locked on the door, ready to deal with this obstacle as best she could.
She had been doing some research, pouring over the notes that had been given to her from Erek, and overall getting up to speed on all things Quincy, Hollow and Shinigami for the past week since she arrived. She had also decided to wait a week before talking to the one that Erek loved because she was still getting used to the idea that the Erek she knew was capable of such a thing. It meant that he hadn’t been nearly as broken as what she would have thought, and that Natalie herself was far more broken than she realized. Natalie wasn’t interested in the fairy tale called love in the slightest, but to know that Erek was capable of such and not notice it before meant the man was changing, and more than just his ridiculous levels of strength, speed and endurance. His heart, mind and soul were changing, and that meant in order to keep the big shithead safe, she was going to have to change her tactics, and it all centralized, for now, around the woman that she hadn’t called anything but ‘Styrofoam’ up to this point.
The training room was prepared, a large area with platforms, bridges and various structures that allowed for a variety of training events to occur, and all made out of solidified spiritual energy. It was truly amazing what could be accomplished with this newfound power she was learning about, and while she definitely couldn’t do something like creating this room, she could indeed appreciate the application and desire to learn. The early morning sun was probably slipping overhead right about now, breakfast time done and dusted, and Natalie even got her morning workout in, slotting this time especially for dealing with Seraphina. If she made her wait, she was going to learn really fast why the other Blackmores scattered like cockroaches when she walked through the hall. Unlike Erek, restraint simply wasn’t in her nature, and they all had learned that with extreme quickness, as she had single handedly sent about a dozen people to the infirmary this week alone. Soon she would have to start working on training the guard individually, but that was another day and time… she needed to teach Seraphina how to deal with Erek.
And where she stood in the Equation.
