Admittedly, after having spent a good few days in Berlin, it was strange for Chieko to have returned to Karakura Town. Admittedly, she didn't plan on being in town for much more than a few days to get some things..but at the same time, she had something she had actually yet to do. Erek had given her the address of Rick's shop in Karakura Town, but she'd never actually followed through with it. Luckily, she'd put the address into her phone. A quick copy to her GPS, and she was on her way. Thankfully, the town was small. But perhaps the most ironic part of all of this was that the shop was supposedly set up in a part of town that she visited rather frequently. Unfortunately, the streets were rather packed today. Granted, that was nothing new. It was early in the morning on a weekday after all. Still, it gave her a chance to walk through the streets like a NORMAL person for once. She was always up for a chance like that, because those chances came far too infrequently.
Still, it was a touch weird going there with everything she knew now. Training with several other Quincy had made it quite obvious what her strengths and weaknesses were. Of course, none of them interested her as much as Holy Artifacts did. She'd come up with that serum after all. Unfortunately, she still couldn't perfect it to be applicable in combat. Honestly, at this point she really just stopped trying. It seemed that the serum itself was just outright ignored by the body until it was in a state of fatigue. Mixing adrenaline into it quickly rendered it inert. Too quickly to give any real benefits. God, this sucked. She sighed as she took the turns that her phone recommended, the bluetooth earbuds she was using allowing her to actually hear over the cars and general business of the city. Admittedly, she was up a little early. But really, she couldn't help it. She'd overcome the Jet Lag really quickly, and due to how the timezones differed between here and Berlin, she was just naturally waking up earlier than she had been before. Admittedly, it was interesting to see how bustling and busy the town could be when everyone was rushing to work. The tiny roads of the town were filled with cars, and the sidewalks were bustling with just as many people.
It was a touch crazy to see. Sure, she'd gotten used to seeing streets filled with people, and constant traffic..but still, this was a small town. Eventually,
she arrived at the store. Upon testing the door to see if the storefront actually opened, it did indeed do so. The bell hanging from the shop's door jingled a bit, catching the attention of the woman manning the front desk. "Welcome to Rick's Contractors, do you have an appointment?" She asked blandly when Chieko walked up to the front desk. Of course, in response, she shook her head. "Actually, I was sent here by a man named Erek Blackmoore. Is Rick Rogers here yet?" She asked, causing the receptionist to sigh. "No, he's not here yet. Should be in any minute now though." She said, causing Chieko to nod and take a seat in one of the empty chairs that littered the main room of the shop. Well, today was hopefully going to be rather interesting.
