Travelling around the world was nothing for Rick Rogers, he was basically using the vigilance technology to teleport at his leisure and save a little bit of time. In this particular situation, Rick was alarmed by a few rumors that he experienced and wanted to talk some things over with Aidan. He was the Sternritter Birith and governed over the sphere of knowledge, and Aidan was also the two men that he fought alongside with in order to protect the Queen. For someone who placed his life on the line as much as Rick did, he felt that they had a new form of understanding that transpired through rank and other relations. This was a bond that was built by battle and blood, leaving Rick to admit that he perhaps understood a few things about Aidan as well. Their priorities of preserving human life and protecting the royal family was more than enough to sway Rick’s opinion of the man to the utmost positive outcome. If anything, instead of giving up and probably doing something foolish along the way for feeling spurned by the order he sworn to uphold, Rick would rather talk to Aidan as man and figure out the reason behind the Holy Artifacts placement.
If Rick wasn’t good enough, he would prove him wrong. However, if that were to fail, Rick would accept the current decision as a learning curve of his current importance of the order. That early assumption was to be nothing but a foot solider, and with the current integration of Shinigami being in the order as “member”, Rick had no clue how he could sate his immediate outrage. They didn’t have to counterattack or provide more reason for strife. However, that didn’t mean that they had to accept that level of outsiders so soon. Long story short, Rick Rogers wasn’t completely satisfied with the recent decisions of the crown, finding appropriate reasons behind the decision in front of someone he wouldn’t initially snap at was the key.
After using the Vigilance tower to pinpoint Aiden’s location, he would then teleport to that location in hopes that he could get a small meeting with him. Continuing to use reiatsu perception in that particular area, the fact of the matter was nothing more than following the trail of breadcrumbs. The Quincy estate in berlin was a place that Rick has been before, but he never necessarily walked into Aiden’s office. The last time that he was with Aiden in a social setting that was more private to the two of them was Rick’s front porch, along with a couple of beers to pass the time. However, he didn’t seem too interested in that, so maybe it was Rick’s turn to be uncomfortable.
Either way, a brief knock on the office door was the common courtesy that was offered to Aiden as Rick let himself in. With the realization of Rick’s spiritual energy simply appearing out of nowhere, it could be known that whatever Rick wanted to talk about was important to him at the very least.
