Hi there!
During my time doing claims I’ve noticed a recurring inconvenience where players forget to mention their Total GP during claims (and expenditures). It might appear like something small but it’s quite handy to have a Total GP at your disposal when checking for potential mistakes. It’s mentioned in the rules for a reason, but I can imagine that some of you might have missed that paragraph. Hence, I’m putting this here for all to be aware.
Claiming GP Writing posts does not automatically place GP in a character’s GP pool; in order to spend GP earned by posting, threads must first be completed, and then be claimed. This is to ensure that a character’s GP gain can be tracked and audited in the interests of fair play. In order to claim, simply post in your application thread with links to the threads in question along with the amount of GP being claimed. Feel free to include any relevant information that might be of assistance, but most important is that an updated GP total is provided every time you claim. It is very easy for staff to keep track of (and if necessary, correct) GP expenditure, but it is significantly more difficult to see where all the GP comes from, and a clear progression of steadily increasing Total GP is as straightforward and accessible as can be. Staff will confirm your claim, check for inaccuracies, and approve the claim, leaving you free to spend it as you please.
Note! It is imperative that RP posts include, at the very least, a word count (Bleach Gotei has a built-in word-counter that is considered “official”).
From now on I would like to see a Total GP whenever you’re claiming or spending any of your GP. If it’s not there, it won’t be approved until it’s fixed.
