Diviner for Hire (Janus Meta)

Oracles, Prophets, Choronomancers, Precogs, Seers; they've been called many things throughout history. Janus prefers the term Diviner. Janus has very limited knowledge of the spiritual in general and had always thought of it as another piece of the puzzle that was her abilities. Though, it is real which puts an odd damper on her personal idea that she happens to be completely insane. She can see the future, for what little good it does her, and she's awfully good at predicting things. Unfortunately, the ability to see the future breeds curiosity at an almost instinctual level. Janus knows things, but it's never enough and she always wants to find out what's in the box. That, is actually putting it mildly.

Many people have that voice inside their heads that tells them to avoid turning pressing the button that says do not push. Janus is convinced that anyone else with this power, probably pushed the button about forty thousand different ways and different times, just to see if it was still the same reaction. Janus wants to know more and more. She saw a masked monster, what was it what did it do how did it work? The list goes on and on, why was there a guy in a black robe? Who still wears black robes?


Janus runs a small BnB, as well as a investigation job on the side. If you need something found, or you need to take a peek into the possible outcomes, drop by. Other than that Janus will interact with pretty much anyone or anything. If it exists, Janus would want to know more about it. Heck, she even wants to know more about things that probably don't exist. Janus also is an unwritten book. She doesn't have opinions on anyone or anything yet because she has not encountered them.

Janus's goals are rather straightforward. Once she has enough information she's probably going to try and become an information broker to the spiritual realm. That would suit her perfectly. Unfortunately she doesn't nearly have enough information to do so yet. This is the major issue she will probably aim to rectify in the future. She will learn what others have to teach, even if it does not apply to her, just for the overall knowledge. Beyond that, Janus is a very reactionary person. When something happens, she reacts. She tries to stay prepared but most people change their minds much to often for her to always be prepared
