Oh, now all of a sudden there was no need for any violence? It was interesting how he hadn’t thought about that before stalking her like the creep he was.
Sasha bit her lip in order to refrain from spitting anything vile at the Shinigami. It appeared that many of them thought that they always got to decide everything. Something about that reality tasted bitter to the young Quincy. She swallowed it regardless.
Perhaps he was right and there was no need for further violence, but only because she wasn’t entirely sure that she would win. Winning, of course, didn’t per se mean killing him; leaving him unconscious would have high likely gotten the point across. Unfortunately, she wasn’t as fast as him, and her arrows didn’t do enough damage to end a conflict quickly.
“You might or you might not.” The bow was dropped a bit to give her a better view of him. Now she was able to glare at the man openly, and she did. There was an angry glow to her green eyes that made them looks poisonous and fitting for the jungle.
“Now, you already know that I’m Alexandra. Would you like to extend me the same courtesy?” Not that knowing his name would magically fix everything. He could even give her a false one if he wanted to, but she opted to trust him at least that far.
“If you’ve been following me for a while now, why haven’t you gotten rid of the Hollow?”
All of them were so keen on saying how it was their job and no one else’s to take down the Hollow-breeds. They were the ones to protect the mortals, and or souls, from getting devoured, and therefore everyone else had to stay out of their business. So many words, so little work done. She didn’t blame them for lacking in that area, nobody could be everywhere at the same time. They just had to get over their pride and be real about the situation they were in together with everyone else.
