Janus walked out of Tokei Aruki as she sighed and stared up at the sun. Which was interesting, it was cold. She was wearing a leather jacket and slacks, with a button up under, complete with a vest and tie to boot. She had handed off the Bed and Breakfast to her other employees because of an odd dream she had. It was weird, though not as damaging as most of her other dreams. This time it was about a train, specifically a steam engine. Which actually, unlike most of Janus' dreams, made a lot of sense. She literally threw her soul and trained into it. How stupid was that? Then again Janus did a lot of stupid things. It was starting to become her Mundus Operandi. This was partly due to the fact she could see potential futures, and partly because she really still did not know better to not stick her head where it did not belong.
To Janus, everywhere was technically where her head belonged, no matter how stupid it seemed. This was in part because she wanted to see the futures associated with them and and it made her happy to find out more. It was either to learn or to not be ignorant, she had not discovered which one she was actually after yet. Though, she was more than beginning to think that everyone but her was ignorant. She wondered around for a bit in her car before sensing a possible future where she went into a few shops. She parked in a local parking area and opened her car. She used the key to turn it off as her old fifties music slowly rocked from the speakers as she shut the door and placed her hands in her pocket. Janus shivered. It was chilly, but nothing to be too worried about as she looked at some of the shops around. Janus would find her way into a convenience store. Being a chef, she was more or less used to eating random things from convenience stores when she did not feel like cooking. Today's decision was a set of three small rice balls.
Janus wondered out as she ate the first of the rice balls and looked around at the different shops. One potential future caught her vision again as she passed by a shop she had not really taken notice of before. She wondered in and looked around at the shop, realizing there was a set of futures that were very focused. She looked around for a few more minutes before realizing that the future she was infatuated with seemed to have been about a question. She blinked a few times and Janus finally rehearsed the question a good number of times. "Are you a Mage?" She asked the young man with straight hair. He smelled like Axe, good lord, Janus thought the world had done away with that stuff.
