Second Release Description:
It all starts with a breath, deep enough to calm his ever present nerves. The very sound in the air surrounding Marshal seems to be drawn into his lungs as the breath seems almost inhuman in length. Eventually, the fullbringer exhales and a fog spills from between his lips. The fog moves through the air not unlike ink in water, haphazard and seemingly aimless but as it flows through the air it seems to leech color from everything it touches until the world around him is set in a greyscale. In the wake of the power's beginning one might begin to feel a sense of weightlessness. If not that, then perhaps a sense of confusion as though the fog itself had slipped into the mind of those under its effects. Something lingers just outside the grasp of the unaware as they slowly begin to realize that there is little to no feeling at all in the presence of the power. Unlike his first release, there is no fear. There is no anger. There is only thought.
Second Release Ability:
Not sure how well it'll be able to be applied with the new mechanics but, put simply, Marshal's second release is the ability to take away the feelings of those around him so long as they're within the grasp of his power. His first power was the ability to invoke feelings of fear and he hated that. He wanted himself to be better for those around him. As a means to that end, he now takes away emotions in hopes that those he cares for can think with a clearer mind when it matters most.
Your Story:
Marshal's story is finally taking an upturn. He's found a home of sorts in Karakura and it all began with Sekai. He's still very much afraid of what he's done and is unable to accept it as part of himself even with Sekai's reassurances. After his return from the Seireitei where he finally awoke his first release, Freylief forces him to face the past. She makes him take a stand for something he wants to protect, in this case the innocent lives of the mortals in the city. Eventually he bumps into Alex who gives him the answer to the question he didn't know he'd been asking, which was what exactly he was. It's with her that he expresses his fears of not being good enough or the ability to move passed what he'd done. He also begins to sense an emotional depth to her that goes beyond his perception of her reiatsu and he feels things echo in himself that he knows she feels. Frey shows up again sometime later though this time she's the one in distress. Marshal pulls out the power he'd been sitting on in hopes that it can help his friend overcome what happened in her life much as she'd done for him in the past.

These threads aren't finished but were supposed to be part of this arc. I know you can't really grade me on what's not there but I figured you'd like to know I had at least had plans for there to be more, even if they did fall through.
Not Quite Home - Marshal finds that he's able to better emotionally connect with people after his encounter with Alyshea
Daytime Distress - Marshal encounters a man who's walked a very similar path as himself who battles with his own demons
[Another Thread with Raph] - Raph and I had toyed with the idea that Marshal could come in during a fight to save Rapheal, giving me a written scene where Marshal finds his second release.
A Human A Quincy A Hollow and A Shinigami Walk into a Bar - the original idea was for Marshal to get desperate enough to try and save everyone from Rick's selee bombs, thus getting him his second release
If I'm being honest, I'm not even really expecting to pass. I'm going for it hoping that what I have is enough but knowing it probably isn't. Mostly I just want to know what more you'd like to see from Marshal to get him his second release if he doesn't pass.
