You find a way to fix your plot that has been kind of derailed. Seeing as we have a time skip, I've taken this as a sign to abandon my loose ends that are going nowhere and start afresh with a character that hasn't had nearly as much progress as he should have done. Which is kind of my fault, but here isn't where I go into that. This does not mean I'm abandoning my one thread that is still currently active, so if you are still here Arteran, you are getting a post.
Introductions are in order
Daichi is a way too serious Shinigami from the Seireitei. He believes in the balance like it is his religion. On the brighter side, this means that it is difficult to find a harder worker than him...but on the other hand, this extremism usually causes conflict to arise whenever he encounters a Quincy, Hollow, or any other being that he sees as a threat to the balance. Even after the plague, Daichi still holds firm to his belief's and will not tolerate anyone suggesting that the Seireitei is no longer relevant or that any of the old ways should be changed. So if you were looking for some kind of social reform plot for the Shinigami, good news! You found yourself an enemy. Not a powerful one, but still could become a threat in due time.
Outside of this fanatical belief, he could be considered a fairly decent guy. A hard worker, follows the rules, tries his hardest to keep others in check.Manages to suppress his inner sadistic tendencies. When he has free time, he only mildly objects to going to a bar to drink. He actually prefers a good cafe though, and has a fairly detailed list of such establishments in Karakura town after patrolling round there many times in the past. Not that he gets any time to visit them anymore, but when he gets time on patrols, you may find him there.
So what can he do for you
Shinigami:
-Someone who will help you rebuild the Seireitei to it's former glory.
-Someone who can conflict with your viewpoint, if you indeed do have an opposing view.
-A possible friend, if you happen to be lacking some of those.
-Somebody who is up for training alongside you. If you choose to do this, he will take it very seriously, so be warned.
-A student/subordinate, if you want one of those.
-Obligatory catch all sentence, as there are plenty of opportunities that could be taken, but that is entirely on a person by person basis. In other words, if you have an idea, I'm probably going to be up for it. As long as it makes sense.
Quincy:
-An enemy.
-Someone who almost certainly disagrees with your viewpoint, but your gonna struggle to get a good conversation in with him. Who knows though, you might be able to calm him down enough to have a decent conversation with him.
-Not much else I can think of for this faction, as Daichi kind of hates them with a vengeance due to their balance breaking ways. But I'm sure if we think about it, we will be able to create some kind of plot that doesn't involve Daichi trying to kill you.
Fullbringers:
-Your friendly neighborhood Shinigami, just without the friendly. Its always good to have a Shinigami contact.
-As with everyone, you could do something that makes you his enemy. He won't try to kill you, as that would interfere with the balance, but otherwise he can be pretty cruel.
-Someone who also likes visiting cafes. Forget he is a dead, and you will almost feel normal.
-Anything you can think of. There isn't many restrictions on this one, except for the fact that Daichi will spend most of his time in the living world doing patrols.
Hollows:
-A rival.
-Someone who will try to kill you.
-Someone who will try to destroy everything you are trying to achieve.
-There really isn't much else we can work on here, as this isn't really the best person to try friendly Hollow-Shinigami relations with. If you really want to though, you can try your hardest, and we may come up with something. Not really recommended though, unless Daichi gets a major character shift.
What you can do for me
Shinigami:
-Threads where we work together. There is lots that has to be done after the aftermath of the plague.
-Friends. Daichi happens to be lacking in this department, so any little helps.
-A friendly rivalry never hurt anybody. Whilst this isn't necessary, I'm interested in where this could lead, which is why I put it here.
-Someone strong, whom Daichi can respect.
Fullbringers:
-Someone with conflicting life views.
-Some friendly faces in the mortal world, for when he actually is there.
Quincy/Hollows:
-Enemies. And lots of them. Preferably within my ability to punch, whilst still being able to punch back.
All of this may be edited as my story moves forward. Or if I think It looks bad. For now, probably the latter.
