The clacking of Reyla's wooden sandals echoed through the uncomfortable empty halls of the First Division, she had just finished turning in the paperwork for her official request of reassignment, and while it felt somewhat liberating to be able to finally say that was done, she was still in a foul mood. She had spent most of the day working with an individual who she was not going to think about who had been getting on her nerves to no end, though hopefully that would stop soon. Regardless, it was done and she needed to at least try and let it go.
Reyla stopped and took a deep breath, her normally calm facade showing a few cracks as she took a moment to straighten her robes. She was tired, she was annoyed, and as uncouth as it might sound she wanted to hit something, badly, preferably with fire. After taking a moment to calm herself down a bit more Reyla continued her way through the labyrinthine halls of the First Division, or at least she tried to. After roughly three minutes Reyla stopped again, her eye beginning to twitch slightly, somehow she had managed to become completely turned around and at this point had no idea where she was. Stopping again Reyla tried to calm herself down, however ineffectual her efforts might have been. At least the building's clean. If I had to keep casting my spell every five minutes in here I'd just blast my way out of here and damn the consequences.
After a moment Reyla perked up slightly at the sound of footsteps and began to try and make her way towards them. Reyla began to speed up as the footsteps seemed to get closer, and as such was completely unable to stop herself when she rounded a corner and came face to face with another woman. With an undignified crash Reyla ran right into the woman, causing them both to fall in a jumbled heap.
Reyla extracted herself carefully and stood up, rubbing her head slightly as she hissed in pain. Who did I hit?
