Vic for a few hundred years has been looking for that thing that is worthy of her end. She over her lifespan has seen countless souls come and go. She knows from witnessing this that all things must come to an end if they're to mean anything. So she's seeking a fitting end for her tale. So she'll face several instances where she could die. Where her tale does finally end. But she hesitates. When she needs to act she can't and can't understand why. Finally, she'll face that choice again she realizes looking for her death is pointless and what matters is finding that cause that is worth dying for and then living for it.
What I need are the moments that Vic has the chance to die but runs from. And that final thing she chooses to live and die for.
As to what that means for you is up to you.
You could be a rogue shinigami who's butchering loyalists.
You could be a humie who's doing something awful.
You could be a Quincy murderhoboing hollows.
You could be a hollow eating everything.
