Physical Description:
Muerta's Faceclaim
Muerta has a long scar running down her right eye as a wound inflicted to her by another Hollow and it had never fully recovered as it appears that many wounds leading up to the point of her Arrancar rebirth had remained on her person. One such example is the smaller scar on the left side of her face inflicted when she was a little girl attempting to walk in Germany's hospitals. For this reason if one were to observe her body, they would see she is a pale white body littered in scars from past battles and from the enslavement of her masters. She has a lithe body frame that is appropriately very childlike and physically weak. She appears however normal weight and a bit short for a fourteen year old's appearance overall. However, for her biggest trait, if one were to look to her legs, they'd see very clearly that she is a cripple for her left is twisted in on itself and shortened like a tree that's withered and died. As for her right, it is similarly warped but is about normal length, enough for her to stand on and limp if she could use her other leg properly. Often as a result, when one watches her walk, she must do so with the support of her lifeless Zanpakutou.
Her hair is a mop of ghostly white which consists of short. messy bangs and seems rather wild and unkempt. It is often a dirty white however as she rarely takes time to groom and clean it. Her eyes are a catseye green which have a dull shade to them almost as if lifelessness radiates throughout her. In terms of effeminate appearance, she lacks many defining details other than her eyelashes which are longer, but usually hidden by the appearance of her hair. She has a very slim and only slightly curvaceous body to show her childishness. As for her clothing, one would say that she takes little care for herself in this regard as well, but she as many Arrancar do wear the standard inverted white and black garb to contrast Shinigami clothing. Hers comes in the form of for starters a single black and white shoe she wears on her right leg. She does not bother placing something senseless as a shoe on her left foot for she can never walk upon it. She along with a simple white shirt and pants comes with a small white jacket which seems two sizes too large for her, often causing people to mistaken her for an even younger child than what she actually is as the sleeves of her jacket are so large, they often flap in the breeze of Las Noches. If one were to remove her jacket, they'd see her arms are bandaged fully, but whether or not this is to add to the crippled look or if it's for aesthetics is not fully known.
Finally comes the form of her Zanpakutou. Her sword comes in the form of a oddly kitchen knife shaped dagger which is kept within the sheath of a katana, often making people double take at such a small weapon being contained in something so large. It is a dull grey blade that is curved ever so slightly and has a red handle which is the only vibrant and colorful possession on her person other than her eyes. Along the sheath is even a small length of white cloth for when the blade is knocked from her and she must reach for it. One may think that this small character looks more like a crippled child moreso than Arrancar, but the noteworthy signification of her status comes in two forms. Often hidden by her jacket which is large enough so that she may tuck her head into the collar would be a small hole inside of her neck around an inch and a half diameter. Alongside this is her mask fragment. It is often a bit hard to notice at first due to her white hair. It is a ring that locks around her skull and has two small holes boring above either eyebrow similar to the locking of a headbrace.
The reason for Muerta's youthful appearance is the fact that overall, she is an incredibly young soul that is not even over a century old. One could consider her a mere infant in terms of experience. When using her Hollow Power however, quite a bit of her appearance changes, at least from the waist down. Muerta's Shadow becomes a replicated figure of herself that will never be smaller than it's original form but may get bigger the longer hours of the day. It can stand on its legs, and seems far more capable than she is, often wielding either her sheath and or utilizing its own body as a weapon due to it's malleable ability to shift its form due to being an abstract third dimensional figure. In this case, it's usage is incredibly versatile. At times she may use it upon her left and right leg so that she may walk normally, but oddly enough, one may often find this shadow attached to this poor girl, dragging her along the sands of Las Noches while she lays on the floor and her legs are enveloped by the shadow figure. Her ability is to manipulate her own shadow and give it a semi tangible form, and in this case, it is her superior.
Spiritual Description:
Her spiritual aura is unlike many of the common person's spiritual pressure for it does not appear as standard blue, white, red, or even yellow. It comes as a howling pitch blackness that looks as if it desires to swallow everything. However, if one were to actually feel it, one could certainly sense a certain hunger. However, it is a hunger for attention and yearning for a form of affection that is foreign. It represents the state of necrosis she felt as her body withered and rotted in her hospital bed, and with it, one could feel intense sadness and yet a similar sensation of deterioration in a figurative sense. It's not pleasant, nor was it intended to be. It however in terms of behavior is weak, very fragile, and trails off very easily representing feebleness of a cripple. She was never able to do anything with her body in her life, and so her spiritual energy decides to represent itself similarly to even make her mental state crippled in appearance. Otherwise, it's formation and such is completely how the user utilizes it and in what manner they wish to use it.
Psychological Profile
Personality:
Not all men are created equal, and Muerta would most certainly share this ideal. She has the belief that one must create their own value in existence, and as a result, she believes that there is a potential value in anything and everything. However, she finds that within society of any kind, she is looked down upon, and she utterly disgusts that feeling until the point of obsession to be recognized, praised, or even simply acknowledged by others positively. Muerta hates to acknowledge herself as a cripple, in fact she outright denies the claim. When told that she is useless, she would do anything and everything to prove otherwise. As a result, it's not difficult to exploit her and use her for a variety of tasks for those that are intelligent enough to exploit her. It is for her obsession to prove her worth that she finds herself desperate for attention and often finds herself in trouble. However, she is a determined and stubborn soul in nature that often thinks little of the consequence until it's too late and often complains about it afterwards. It's a dangerous cycle, but she continues it for she lacks knowledge or understanding that one doesn't need to prove their own self worth.
One could say that she is loyal to Las Noches simply because it is full of people that can acknowledge her whether be it good or bad. It is also one of the only factions that wouldn't kill her on sight. Often she has a bit of a sarcastic side where she retorts back to statements that are blatantly obvious, simple, and or easy to comprehend. The one thing that she would adore more than being acknowledged as an equal is to be valued as greater than another. This way she can prove that even she, especially she, can be something greater than what others label her as. She when experiencing such praise becomes ecstatic and thrilled far more than if she were to feel even the greatest of drugs. People may call her naive or gullible due to falling into line with what others ask of her, but in reality, she serves simply because she finds absolute pleasure in being granted worth and chances to prove herself. Without the admiration and approval of others, she finds that life is not worth venturing. The small girl wants all of the attention on herself.
While she doesn't prefer violence, she is certainly no stranger to it due to her hollow history. Of course her obsession comes from her aspect of death, and her aspect of death originates from when she grew as a child that was crippled within Eastern Germany during the end of WW2 and the occupation of the Soviet Union. Due to his harsh past of her short lived childhood and the abandonment of her parents, she has a side that's rather clingy, finding it difficult to let go of any people that she would find close to her, especially of parental relation and or even friend like relations. She despite being an Arrancar also has no particular disdain for any of the other races, even finding pleasure by being acknowledged by any of those sorts of individuals. She finds pride in her skills and abilities, even if often they are a bit limited. However, there is one thing that she most absolutely hates from people. That one thing would happen to be sympathy. Muerta refuses any form of sympathy from others due to her unfortunate status and would frankly find it more antagonizing than if one were to taunt her for it. She believes herself to be just as good as any other being or better, and she would rather continue to delude herself with this dream than be snapped out of it.
She when fighting due to her former status as a Hollow believes that it is always best to fight intelligently. Raw power doesn't necessarily mean anything if it isn't wielded right. Besides, as a cripple, she has had to fight very carefully and had to use very careful tactics in order to reach where she's been. She also prefers to be more precise with her actions and to do things with high efficiency. She doesn't stroke her ego by playing with her opponents for all that matters is that she is superior. She doesn't need an opponent's acknowledgement for when they fight and if she is to kill them, that automatically makes her superior by default. It's a sort of unspoken bond that warriors have when entering battle, or something like that. She often will spend time analyzing and observing a situation before doing anything, but this is not always the case. There are times when she is confident enough that she can handle a task without much thought due to her overall power/strength.
Goals & Achievements:
What she admires in others is power, loyalty, similar statuses that allow her to interact with them.
As a result of this, one of her biggest dreams is to gain enough power and reputation to someday be acknowledged as the Primera Espada. It is her greatest dream for she wants to be acknowledged as the best of worth, and there is no higher position that the Arrancar can take than the Primera Espada other than the king him/herself. However, she never has such an inspiration. It was always good to have someone to praise you, and if you were on the top, then there was nobody superior to praise you. One could see for her obsession that she would have such a high and outlandish dream that could be conceived by others as impossible. Afterwards if that dream was to ever be accomplished, she had never thought further on what her life would be. However, eternal praise and recognition are surely enough. the only other thing that she would ever wish for more would be perhaps to change her body so that she could have a strong and healthy one as opposed to the crippled one that she has. Her psychology dictates that she be better and or at least equal to other beings.
Hollow File
Aspect of Death:
Envy: As a cripple and one that has been unable to walk through her life and even within death's embrace, she has let this desire consume her and thus it defines her drive to be useful, to have purpose, and in tandem to imitate others and or attempt to surpass them to prove she is of greater value. For this reason it pains her when people are to label her as lesser, weak, and or other forms of offense. While other Arrancar at times move past their aspects of death, no longer letting it directly define her, she on the other hand is forced to live through it as an ever familiar mockery of her former life and her struggle that has been present throughout her entire existence. For this reason, one would often see this little Arrancar obsessed with proving things to others and often they'd see she is bitter and or utterly jealous of the talents and or skills she lacks, namely walking. It's a hard life and afterlife living as a cripple. Though, it's not as if many people can relate with her on that subject.
