So I was just reading a manga where the nominally good guy, an immortal with a chequered past, used the ability to raise an army of his dead enemies to fight a superpowered Germanic paramilitary organisation.
But enough about Hellsing. This is about Bleach Chapter 508: Like a Raging Fire.
Now, my first and most obvious question is: Why doesn't Juha Bach just steal Yamamoto's Bankai? It's been their whole plan so far. Now, this is also the most easily answered question. I can just assume that Yamamoto is one of the 'Five Special Weapons' and, like Ichigo, his Bankai is unstealable. It would be nice to have someone say it though!
Next question: Why hasn't Juha Bach entered Vollständig, which can just EAT EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IN A HUGE RADIUS, WITH NO DEFENCE POSSIBLE (save for managing to break the crown, before someone mentions that), and finished it that way?
Third, and this is a shift to an out-of-universe perspective (which also allows us to answer the second question: We wouldn't get to see Yamamoto be awesome). What the hell is with Kubo's predilection to have multiple consecutive chapters, and sometimes entire Tankōbons set in the perspective of a completely outmatched villain? What the hell happened to suspense? This is basic storytelling.
As amelioration for the negativity of the above, it's pretty, and we have a new canon Quincy Technique too. Yay!

The generally accepted theory on why Ichigo and Yamamoto's bankai cannot be stolen is that because they are compression-types. Rather than radiate their power, they condense what is normally an excess of destructive capability into the space of mere centimeters. This would make them much harder to steal, as they are pretty much more dense than other Bankai.
Plotkai. Lots and lots of plotkai.
Kubo is a dumbass. This should be common knowledge by now.
You even answered a question I didn't ask! How thoughtful of you! <img src='http://www.bleach-gotei.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_mrgreen.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

One more reason why Ryujin Jakka is the scariest Zanpakuto in existence. Also, I want Ol' Man's flaming whiskers!
Also, what makes you think Juha is the real villain here? <img src='http://www.bleach-gotei.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_razz.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I'm still willing to swear that Urahara is the real BBEG.

Yamamoto looks like satan now. Raising the dead and spewing "fire" out of his ass like he is. I LOVE IT! Aside from the fact that it makes no sense unless you look unbelievably deep into it.

I also find it ridiculous Kubo would go the undead army route. To quote Juha Back in the previous chapter, "no Zanpakutou has a Shikai and a Bankai that use different abilities." How the hell do you get an army of undead soldiers from a fire-type Zanpakutou?

Obvious solution is that the zombies are made of fire. Army of the burning dead, remember? <img src='http://www.bleach-gotei.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_razz.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
