Yet another day in the Sixth Division. It was, by all accounts, rather dull to be a Shinigami, especially since the invasion was to occur any day now. The only question was when it would happen. Well, no, that was incorrect. The only question was if she would really be able to fight these people. The Arrancars. The lot of them were all evil and not worth saving, but there were plenty of Arrancar that weren't evil, that were actually rather nice. Lessa hadn't met too many Arrancars like that, but she knew they existed, and so she had to wonder if she'd really be able to fight them when the time came. But it was more than that that she was thinking about. Lessa was also thinking about her Inner Hollow. What it meant now that she had managed to reconcile with the beast, with the mask, she put on so very much. The young-looking Shinigami was not sure at all what it meant for the future, if she even had one, now.
That was really the frightening thing though, wasn't it? The fact that she had no idea what the future might bring. Because she was so very scared of what might happen to her friends. To the people she had grown to care about. Already Lancelot himself was in danger, and there was no way of telling if Gilgamesh would be able to find Eon. Considering the resources at his disposal, it didn't seem too unlikely that he'd be able to, if he REALLY wanted to. And then there were other people she had grown to be close with as well. Not extremely close, but enough to call them friends. Such as Kenshou, for one, though he had tried to kill her in an attempt to get her to control her Inner Hollow.
The girl put those thoughts to the side for the moment. No, instead, she concentrated on the facts of the day, and that meant concentrating on the prisoner that was about to arrive soon. Why dd that interest her so much? Because of the fact that the one coming to drop the prisoner off was none other than Kyousuke Tsukimiya. Or something like that anyway, his last name wasn't too important to her. He was, from what she had learned, the second division Captain, which was truly a surprise to her. Gilgamesh really didn't have qualms about appointing ANYONE to the Captain position, did he? Though granted, Lessa had no idea where Kyousuke had been all this time.
The only real memory she had of him came from Tova, when he had been turned into a Vaizard. So that was why she wanted to speak with him, because he was like her, a Vaizard. And as much as it pained her to admit it, he was her family now. The closest thing she'd HAVE to family. Sure, she'd be friends with Shinigamis, and love Eon, but, when it came down to it? The Vaizards were the groupe she belonged to the most.
