Dew yawned, getting up from his bed and looking around. It was pretty early in the morning, or at least that was what the lack of light outside and his clock would have him believe. He stretched a little, scratching the side of his neck. He sipped from a small flask that was beside his bed, sighing a little before getting up and getting dressed. He looked at himself in the mirror and noticed small faint red marks on his neck. He laughed, looking down at his nails. He'd forgotten just how sharp they could be. He wouldn't forget that in the future though. He was changing. It wouldn't be prudent to remain ignorant to that fact. Sure his dad had asked about the nails and his ears once he had noticed, but Dew had shrugged the questions off, saying that they were nothing serious. He was gaining more power so that he would be able to protect his dad Was there something wrong with that? Matthew had been unable to say anything was, especially since Dew had given puppy dog eyes. Parents were more or less inclined on principle to agree with their kids when the eyes were employed.
Dew trailed the nails over his own skin again, shivering from it a little. The feeling actually gave him a bit of a rush. Just like drinking the blood from his flask. His dad had questioned that too, but since he couldn't see any obvious negative effects, he wasn't going to stop the teen from drinking whatever the dark red liquid was. Obviously he didn't know it was the blood of hollows. The pale teen got dressed in his normal day clothes. Black pants, striped shirt, and white boots. He wasn't in the mood to actually go anywhere at the moment. He was just going to hand out outside the shop. He went downstairs to get some breakfast, hugging his dad who was already on his way to the forge to work on a new project of his. He was going to try making some glasses that would help him see in the spirit world all the time. He was working on making his armor less cumbersome while still being strong as well. Dew wished him luck, then fixed his breakfast.
Once he was done with that, he yawned and stretched, looking outside. It was a little lighter out, so he supposed no one would try to abduct him. He ran back upstairs for a bag of gummies. Couldn't leave the house without them. He stepped outside and looked around, shivering a little from the slight chill of the morning. He wondered what might happen today. Could be anything, or nothing. He hoped for the former though.
