The darkness began to stir, the shapeless void giving itself a form. Massive stone columns errupted from the nothingness, perfectly smooth in their texture. Nonexistant light reflected off their gleaming surfaces, giving them the appearance of marble. They were truly a sight to behold, even if they were simply to foundations for the masterpiece; this was the power and perfection of the Royals.
The countless stone columns melded together in a large circle, hundreds of feet high, forming a massive, circular wall. A single hole opened up on the side of this fortress-in-the-making, large enough for even the grandest of Hollows to pass through. This intricate opening, decorated with finely crafted stone depictions of previous battles, led the way to an entirely different environment.
It was a Coliseum in every way, from the smallest curve to the largest slab of stone. The sky had turned a magnificant blue, not a single cloud to be seen. The sun beat down on the empty arena like an Emperor awaiting the challengers to emerge. This was his dome and his entertainment, and it was best not to keep the Emperor waiting.
Empty stands waited patiently for the patrons that would never come. The domain was silent, save for the footsteps of its sole inhabitant. Their sound bounced off the walls, a reverberating echo that resonated throughout the entire coliseum, with no organic mass or alien sound to disrupt its flow. Green blades of grass littered the arena floor, waiting to be crunched under the feet of the soon-to-be combatants. They were violated by only a single being, making his way to the center of his creation.
"Welcome!" Siy said, stepping into plain view. He stood there, his entire form exposed in the center of the newly created world, for all to see. The sun's rays beat down on his finely tanned skin, his bright red hair flowing in the brisk breeze that had manifested itself. He closed his eyes and took the environment in; yes, this would be a good fight. He took a deep breath, readying himself for whatever lay ahead.
A new set of footsteps presented themselves now; the challegner was making his appearance. He came from the opposite direction that Siy had entered from, making his grand entrance through the massive archway that had been carved into the side of the great structure...
