"Do not seek beauty in battle. Do not seek virtue in death. Do not make the mistake of considering only your own life. If you wish to protect that which you must protect... slice the enemy you must defeat from behind"
-Shin'o academy motto

With his recent promotion to Vice captain of the sixth division, Omoi knew he had to change a lot of things in his daily routine, effective immediately. Well, not immediately, but today. First, he had to get to his cooking just so he could feed his Koi pond, knowing that they would be more then pleased if they got fed before he went on his way. Today he would cook some sweet food for his prized fish, mashing both cooked rice and potato's together, adding additional vitamins and some sugar into the mixture. The Koi were like the children he did not have, meaning a lot to him and wishing to have them around for a great many more years like members of his family, the Yasutake. Once his fish had eaten, they became extremely immobile, drifting in their place of the pond while they digested their food. He did this for a very good reason, using this moment to start painting his fish on canvas with expensive and colorful paints that only a noble family could get their hands on so easily. Despite spending at least an hour on his paintings, he knew he had to get dressed right after finishing, because today would be the first of many. Things would change from this day on, and in his attempts at changing his routine, he would go to one of the places he normally would not think of approaching without a very good reason for it.
The sole reason for his visit to the second division grounds was too look for their Vice captain that went by the name Kiriko Chinda. Like him, she was the Vice captain of her division, proving to him that she had a solid amount of skill when it came to such things as Hakuda, Zanjutsu, Shunpo, the things he believed were part of their division more then others. Even though the fifth used Zanjutsu more then anyone else, they were also the brutes of the Sereitei, not the kind of people he needed right now. Not just that, but these were the kind of people who fought without using honor and virtue, they entered the fray only to make their kill, after which they stepped back into the shadows. Omoi was not the kind of person who truly enjoyed setting foot in this area, knowing the kind of things these people did on a daily basis. Even though he knew that someone had to take care of assassinations and other jobs of the kind, to Omoi, fighting without any honor and respect for the opponent, a fight was no longer a fight, it was just a slaughter. Ever since his days in the academy, instructors had tried getting him to follow the code of the Shin'o academy, to follow the motto they passed down on all of their scholars. Being known as the genius of the academy, he had never forgotten their motto, even though he did not stand behind it for one hundred percent.
Omoi was not the kind of person who wished to seek beauty in battle or virtue in death, though he never really understood what they meant when they told him to not make the mistake of considering only his own life while having to slice the enemy he had to defeat from behind. Even though Omoi had just enrolled into the sixth division a couple of days ago after he had been asked to enforce them as the new acting Vice captain, he already had a lot of years of experience going for him, having the wounds to show for it. He had a large circular wounds in the center of his chest, right beside his heart, several claw induced wounds running down the length of his back and three claw marks in his face, over his left eye. The scars in his face were a part of his appearance, notifying everyone that Omoikane Yasutake had arrived, most people knowing him either as the new vice captain of the sixth division, a member of the noble Yasutake family or as the genius of the Shin'o academy. It was true that Omoi was a very well known individual inside of the Sereitei, though he had a lot of things left to learn, this being the reason why he had come here in the first place. Hoping he would not simply get turned away after gathering his wits in going here against his own morals and convictions, it would be a real downer if it came down to that.
If there was anyone that could help him become more worthy of the role of Vice captain, it would be another Vice captain, namely the one from the second division, knowing that she was the one that had to take care of the filth in the Soul society without question, for this was what she had been trained to do. Every new recruit that joined the second division had to be prepared to have their life thrown away for the sake of the Sereitei, this not changing when they ranked up higher, only making their work all the harder. Asking some of the members that were practicing in the divisions training grounds as to the location of their lieutenant, most had no idea as to where she was, telling him that if he wanted to find her, he just needed to stick around and wait long enough for her to find him. It seemed only fitting to wait for an assassin to find him, the one that stood out among the others due to his reiatsu and the way he was dressed. Wearing a red and white haori over his attire, adorned with a red shoulder plate and a pair of gauntlets, he did not look at all like the others, figuring he would be easy to find.
