It was a peaceful morning in the suburbs of a town a few miles south of Karakura, course it wasn't as chock full of spiritual energy to draw in hollows of any form besides Basic. Nothing above the Basic Hollows even traveled there Gillian, Adjuchas or even Vasto Lorde who were bored out of their minds. The time was somewhere past 3 in the afternoon, the children all home from school and all wanting to play with each other, the levels of happiness from the children all at maximum as it was a Friday. So they were looking foreword to the weekend to play, spend time with their families with whatever their families had planned, if anything at all was planned. But none the less the day was perfect, course there were some plus's stuck on in the World of Living, the basic meal to attract Hollows, sadly for the hollows that spirit was gonna be met and questioned by a being she never would of thought that she would be questioned by.
A large and wide black crack formed in the sky and soon enough it opened revealing a black void full of nothing. A single being walked out, a man with long white slicked back hair, as white as snow pale skin and light blue eyes. The man was wearing a white toga and a white yakama under it, course it wasn't hard to tell he was a hollow, due to his large hole in his right breast and the serpent detailed hollow fragment being his left upper cheek, eye and forehead. Course at this point all spiritual beings in the area were aware of him, most hid them self's in order to not become a hollow through consumption. The man looked around, before spotting a female spirit, a spirit of a young girl who most likely died before she even turned twelve, seeing as she was looking young, he ignored her.
"....Time to find some information"
The man had a thick, European accent course when you are a hollow, accents don't count for anything besides a quick way to irritate people. The man sighed before descending down into the town, hoping that he will learn something new, he just couldn't satisfy his desire to obtain knowledge and feed his hunger for souls. Eventually as he searched the town, picking up souls of adults and asking them questions about something interesting. None the less they all failed to even slightly make him smile which of course resulted in them being swallowed, like noodles really if you count eating them head first to be like eating noodles.
"...this is a waste of time...ugh...oh well keeping on with the search"
It was quite obvious that the man was emotionless at this point, but not too long after he found the same little girl, being chased by basic hollows. Nothing new, nothing impressive to even talk about. He figured that if none of the adults knew anything then he might as well give the girl a chance to survive as a spirit just a bit longer. He stopped the hollows, mostly just by picking up the girl by her collar and glaring at the hollows, even tho they acted tough they just ran away the second they saw the arrancar pick up the girl. The arrancar sighed before setting the girl down"...so...can you tell me anything that is important to know?" he asked causing the little girl to blink, obviously she was confused but she decided to pay back the nice man who helped save her from the hollows " well...being happy is important " the girl spirit said, clearly just saying what she was taught when she was alive. " Happy?...what is this...happy?" he asked causing the girl to blink" You don't know? its a really nice feeling you get in your chest...right here" she said pointing her hand to her chest. " You get all warm inside and all cozy it just makes you have the biggest smile!" she said she exclaimed. Now this made him feel, quite honestly, shocked. He never knew what this ' Happy ' feeling was, he felt satisfied for a time being before hungering again but never truly happy.
" i see...well then...go on...run off and hide then...you earned your reason to live..."
The girl spirit nodded" Okay mister, have a nice day~" she said waving as she ran off to go hide in case of other hollows showing up. The arrancar sighed "..happy huh....what a weird thing..." The arrancar said, before walking off back to his garganta, seeing as he now had something to think about. This happy feeling, he wanted to ponder on this, possibly ask around to see if others could explain it to a better degree, he doubted it but something deep inside him started to form, something the arrancar never had before. A tiny but growing emotion called happiness.
