Okay, Kireon, one more time to do two things.
First, we're not killing the thread. This is exactly what Quarantine is for and it's very easy to ignore it.
Second, Staff is not furiously telling the world you're a monster, just want to get that out there. Again, you don't believe me, so ask them yourself. We don't have the ability to control people's opinions.
That's exactly what Tokiyo did. That's exactly what you did. I can't process a reality where you think that statement is true and the concept of even sitting around and arguing more to try to figuring out how in the fuck you could say that is making me physically ill.
I'm out, and if my willpower is actually worth a damn, I won't open a link from here again.
(aside from to sneak in that post for Chain eventually)
You know you guys sound like squabbling five year old arguing over who got the candy. Jokes aside, this case would have closed up if you guys act like an adult (I know most of you are like 20+ years old) and solve this thing in calm manner. Being all rage isn't going to help solving the problem. Instead they will get drag on and more ppl would get more butt hurt over this So, please calm down and think critically over what had happen through out these past few days. Just to be sure, I am not pointing fingers to anyone nor would I support anyone. I'm just standing by the side line reading through what you guys have been arguing.

have we got it out of our systems yet? have we all ripped out all the hurt we got in us? is it time for dialogue?
i hope so, im feelin' optimistic. it doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened and why everything went the way it did, maybe I'm in a privileged position to see that? maybe its harder accept the motivations on each side for what they are, incredibly human.
I'd post it is a mystery but even I'm not feeling that glib about it. effort posting continues on the morrow, I second the notion for everyone involved to rest up.

I woke up still sickened enough by Tova's lies that I'm going to go through his post and set the record start. I won't be reading any responses to this post, so don't even bother.
First off, Tova misses the entire point of the complaint I made against Tokiyo, and persists with the motte-and-bailey himself.
Next, he accuses me of bullying Reima, while leaving out that actual exchange. Which was Reima PMing me to say he'd go if I wanted to, to just say it, and that he was only there because certain people had been begging him to come back. I responded that when one of those people mentioned him in the chatbox previously, there was such an outpouring of hate that they had to backtrack and say they were joking, that Reima wasn't coming back. This is simply true. Reima then left.
As far as 'bullying Reima' goes, Tova is more guilty of it than I am, removing him from the Naruto Gakure project because he didn't want him to participate, presumably due to his toxic personality, without any confrontation or explanation. Just, goodbye from the skype chat, you're not allowed to be here. Maybe we should remember the stones we've thrown before accusing others of throwing pebbles.
Reima's caused a lot of problems for a lot of people here. I like the people here. I don't want to see the old patterns repeat and for them to get hurt by people who are resolutely hateful the way Reima is. You'll see that's something that motivates most of my behaviour.
All you have on me regarding Shizuminoru is a wish that people wouldn't write with him. That's exactly what Paks's topic is about. This is nothing to do with anything. In fact, I've revised my opinion upward of him quite a bit, and while I don't like him, I don't think he's the horribly destructive force that caused many female members to feel unsafe on the site that he used to be.
Ezzy's power had nothing to do with Approvals. It was not an Approvals-related complaint. It was that staff was failing to handle Ezzy going off in chatbox about what his power is, which differed from the obvious reading of what was approved. It was that when Titus complained about this, staff brushed him off and told him the power was fine. I communicated this very very clearly to Jian a night or two ago, See attached logs.
This was something staff should have seen and handled weeks ago. If you don't have the people who are actually willing to do shit available to deal with problems before they boil over into player deaths, you need to fire the dead weight and hire more people. [8/30/2015 5:06:02 AM] Snakebyte: The impression Tokiyo gave me, and this may have just been poor communication on his part, was that he didn't read Ezzy's thread with Tits until after Ezzy died. [8/30/2015 5:06:09 AM] Snakebyte: And that's just kind of horrible. [8/30/2015 5:06:28 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: That keeps coming up, it's not an effort thing, we just didn't think handing him those powers would be a big deal as written, as lots of people have abusable powers as written, like, LOTS [8/30/2015 5:06:43 AM] Snakebyte: That's not the point. [8/30/2015 5:06:56 AM] Snakebyte: The point is that when complaints came in you should have promptly addressed them and read the threads in question. [8/30/2015 5:07:01 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: Yeah [8/30/2015 5:07:08 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: That's what I was going to say next [8/30/2015 5:07:20 AM] Snakebyte: The wording on his power was bad, but it's a fairly small slip-up all things considered. [8/30/2015 5:07:27 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: We should have realized Iko wasn't keen on what was going on and stepped in more directly to support him [8/30/2015 5:07:33 AM] Snakebyte: The lack of response once it became really evident there'd been a fuck-up there? [8/30/2015 5:08:07 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: I haven't read Robert's communicae with Tits so I don't know how it went. I won't speak to how evident it was to him [8/30/2015 5:08:14 AM] Snakebyte: Oh [8/30/2015 5:08:15 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: I know you don';t trust him but! [8/30/2015 5:08:22 AM] Snakebyte: Tits has bitched to me multiple times about it. [8/30/2015 5:08:27 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: Wow srs? [8/30/2015 5:08:31 AM] Snakebyte: He was really unhappy. [8/30/2015 5:08:40 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: I wish he went to someone else and said hey this wasn';t handled right. or back to robert but [8/30/2015 5:08:42 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: Ngh [8/30/2015 5:08:53 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: I sincerely doubt Robert realized it, which is hit or miss as to why [8/30/2015 5:09:02 AM] Snakebyte: He took Robert's answer to mean that 'player consent' being slapped on a power meant that any godmodding power was fine in this mechanics-free era. [8/30/2015 5:09:08 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: oh lord [8/30/2015 5:09:12 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: that's [8/30/2015 5:09:14 AM] Snakebyte: And has been bitching about that [8/30/2015 5:09:15 AM] Snakebyte: For ages [8/30/2015 5:09:16 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: does he still think that [8/30/2015 5:09:19 AM] Snakebyte: Both privately and publicly. [8/30/2015 5:09:29 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: fuuuckkk me [8/30/2015 5:09:30 AM] Snakebyte: It was never communicated to him that Ezzy was godmodding from staff's perspective. [8/30/2015 5:09:39 AM] Snakebyte: He was given a staff endorsement of Ezzy's godmodding. [8/30/2015 5:09:43 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: WOWWWW [8/30/2015 5:09:53 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: player consent meant HE HAD TO BE OKAY WITH IT AGH [8/30/2015 5:09:53 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: that [8/30/2015 5:10:02 AM] Adam B. Caverhill: sucks
So this entire section is an out-of-context red herring which people on staff damn well knew was false.
The next section is regarding making a new site to avoid the failings this place has. Which I don't want to do because it's an insane amount of work to build a site from scratch, and I don't want to put it in. It's not a valuable or enjoyable use of my time at this stage in my life. I don't even understand what you're suggesting this part says. All it is is "Dealing with the failings this place has is preferable to starting another place that's free of them, because of the workload involved."
The quote you pasted with Naz in it has absolutely nothing to do with anything. It wasn't malicious at all, and that's why it was so great. I don't enjoy being malicious. I do, however, enjoy quite a bit when I'm able to fuck with someone in a way that is inherently non-malicious, beneficial to them, but still gets under their skin a little. I've always loved trolling people by giving them something nice, for example. It's great because everyone wins.
In this particular case, which has absolutely nothing to do with Bleach Gotei, roleplaying forums, or any of the rules that apply here, what I did was make a comment that seemed innocent to the person it was directed at, but harsh to certain bystanders that would enjoy it. I was confident the person it was belittling would not understand that they were being belittled, so it wasn't malicious at all! I was being decent. Everyone won. It had nothing to do with 'ducking rules', and what I said there is way too vague for you even remotely understand it anyway.
What I mostly want to do is write. What I mostly want to do is make this place somewhere that everyone can enjoy. I've repeatedly pushed for fairness, equal treatment, and an environment where everyone can feel safe to build stories here. Because that is all I ever wanted. Kyousuke is the one you're describing here, buddy. He's tearing people down left right and center. I don't do that. I want to make this place better, or failing that, at least stable, so that I can get on with writing without it falling apart, and so that other people can do the same.
We've only established that you're taking things out of context and lying to assassinate my character because I scare you and you want me gone.
'Illegal vandalism' is a joke regarding Naruto Gakure. In the group chat, someone noticed an e-mail from you, saying you were fucking with it. We remembered our work there was on a board you controlled, and we were still planning to go forward at this point, so we talked about what to do, conferred with as many contributors as possible, and diplomatically agreed that removing our work from your clutches was what the people involved in Naruto Gakure, most of whom had quit Bleach Gotei because of you, wanted to do.
I don't even know how "I'm not very different from Garra" is supposed to prove anything?? I've always gotten along with the man. We have similarities and differences. I'm certainly more fit for polite company than he is, and the lack of context in this excerpt and the way you're trying to twist it into saying that whatever you're trying to say negatively about Garra (someone else who saw right through you, I might add) applies to me as well is beyond silly.
I want this place to be fair for everyone. I don't care about being better than everyone else. You are the one that's chafed at in-character rules, rebelled at the idea that another more powerful character could prevent you from doing what you want, felt just fine shunning people off the site and letting everything be driven by cliques and force of personality. I have always wanted everything to be fair, for us to live in a unified world where realistic things happen to our characters that aren't driven by OOC squabbling. I have always worked for the betterment of all while you have always worked for the betterment of you.
You punished me for asking for help because I was being attacked by someone with authority. I'm still the only one mentioned here, even though there are logs including other people, that Amaya cited other people. No one else has even been named. This isn't fair treatment, this is a smear campaign to remove me from your site because you can't stand that I exist on it.
Thank you for proving that I was incredibly right when I said how insincere Jian's statement about bullying was, because you, and this, is far worse than anything I have ever done and ever will do, and it's not only ignored by staff, it's perpetrated by them. Staff does not care about anyone's problems. They care about protecting their friends, whether those friends are the victims or the perpetrators. They care about making people they don't like feel bad, so they'll hopefully go away.

You know, I'd almost be willing to hear you out Colin, if it weren't for the fact that this reminds me so much of my last "Staff are assholes and I quit" momdnt that I'm actually having deja vu. Like, seriously. Is this 2013 somehow?
Anyway, if you are going to leave, just do it and stop replying- the more you try to prove Justin wrong, the more you prove that what he said was right.

I'm going to maintain my policy of minimal response, top to bottom.
First, my response was to your long-term history and not just your complaint regarding Tokiyo or the situation with Amaya. I made that clear at the start.
My decision to remove Reima was in regards to a separate project and contributed to by more people than just I.
The example of Shizuminoru was supplemental and quite clearly laid out the actuality of the situation.
Your Ezzy dodge is pretty transparent. Why would we ever censor Ezzy talking about his own character? We've publicly corrected him many times before.
The context you've got there really doesn't change the nature of the issue at all.
What you committed was still an illegal act, cut and dry, and was most certainly vandalism. I was testing e-mails because, as it turns out, the outlook.com servers block phpbb3 e-mails but g-mail does not. Given that I primarily use outlook.com, I was concerned it wasn't working at all and wanted to know why.
I'm not so sure, given what I've been told, that it was a choice on your part. Based on what information I do possess, you stopped when everyone bailed on you. I still see this as believable, but I won't press the matter because it is impossible to objectively examine.
I think your comment about Garra was far more true than you realize. Neither you nor him co-exist with others well, given how willy-nilly you threaten to drop friends, quit things, etc. Not a positive force at all.
I am very much the kind of player doesn't like other players fucking with me for no reason. Luckily, no one here on Bleach Gotei does that. I am, however, very much a fan of unexpected developments: See Ezekiel and Kionchi.
As for working for the betterment of myself: What? I barely participate on Bleach Gotei, what's there to better for me? Really, what? I don't have the time or energy to stack maliciously seeking greater "power" on an online roleplaying game with my already hefty schedule. I simply cannot bring myself to care to that kind of degree, the thought is legitimately astonishing.
We punished you, emphasis on the we (in fact, all of this is a we), for far more than this incident or your single pleading to be left alone. I made that clear in my response, this was about more than that.
So, yes, Amaya did cite other people and we are dealing with those other people. Those other people did not ask for me, specifically, when I had otherwise chosen not to engage with the situation at all. You put me in a Catch-22. "Intervene and hold up the decision of my team" or "Ignore him and be the guy that ignored a direct request straight to me". Neither of these were going to be pretty, so I stood behind my team.
I really don't know what to say if you think Jian, of all people, is like that. He couldn't be farther from that reality and I thought you knew better. You two get along phenomenally.
If you honestly think even Jian has managed to be sucked into this vortex of overwhelming self-interest, there's nothing I can say to you that will get through. You've made it clear that anything that I say or share you consider immediately invalid.
Communication is not possible in this situation. It has to be a two-way street.
Unfortunately, I had to sleep and couldn't meet your unilateral deadline.
I am very much the kind of player doesn't like other players fucking with me for no reason. Luckily, no one here on Bleach Gotei does that. I am, however, very much a fan of unexpected developments: See Ezekiel and Kionchi.

Well, to clarify.
I have past experience (distant past) of players who would seek to stick themselves into another player character's business with the sole intention of causing a lot of disruption. I still have an aversion to letting that happen to myself. Luckily, no one on Bleach Gotei does that. Furthermore, I really enjoy unexpected developments: Such as when you stood up to fight me for Captain (and then when I gave you the win, even I didn't know I'd be doing that!) or when Kionchi did the same.
Those were two awesome things that kind of happened because other people were like "THIS IS RELEVANT TO MY INTERESTS" all of a sudden.

Well I never took my ACT because I never qualified for FAFSA aid, right? So it's like, "Why blow 100+ on this test and then not go to school?"
I now qualify for A LOT of FAFSA aid.
But I dunno, I did a practice and got a 27 in my Sophomore year, but that was AGES ago? I've been out of school for a really long time since then, I'd be pleased to match that score. Furthermore, I live with someone who pulled a fucking 30. The sense of inferiority is real.
I dare say I'll do alright on the reading and writing parts, though. Not sure why, it's just like
ACT's easy if you're good at test taking. You really don't even have to know how to get the answers the right way, as long as you recognize the patterns.
Post by Riko Michio on Sept 1, 2015 14:17:48 GMT -5
30 is pretty good
Not Junior Year Jason good, but still good
And yeah, I have that same feeling too
Weird right?
(Also don't feel too bad about that 27- my brother got a 24 on his first try, and by the time he had graduated he'd gotten that up to a 28. With a bit of studying you could totally do the same.)
