1) There was a very large inciting incident for Victoria that is a private matter. We simply chose to avoid embarrassment for all by not repeatedly bringing it up for him.
2) I was not the site owner then, it was not my final call. I worked with both Colin and Shun to arrive at that decision. This did not become "my call" until 2016. Note Vic's ban was from 2014.
3) Do note I said it was part of why, not the sole reason why.
Also this, again, re: Vic.
Dont equate the two, please, are you are lacking the context to do so.
I am stating I am not, and that I would treat any other member the same way.
I don't know how to disprove this. If you can think of a way, I'm all ears.
You could I dunno, maybe ask your player base if they think Kyou should be banned considering all the shit he's pulled over the years and the ban violations he's already by your words had. After all if staff is still here to facilitate RP and the Players maybe you should ask them their opinion on BG's most popular offender of anything and everything.
Please see earlier: we dont do popularity contests.
Almost every single one of us would have been gone if all we needed was to get a handful of people to say the right thing.
If you want to play by this, then I need to ban about 18 people right the fuck now.
We don't do popularity contests is a cop out and a bullshit excuse especially because its not one.
He is banned from Chat, He's violated that ban. He's on a 7 day Ban for some other shit. You're not going to enforce your own rules and you're not going to askt he site what they want. What good are you exactly?

I've been completely transparent about what was done. Kyousuke violated his chat ban and Salmon issued a 7 day temporary site ban.
He is not going to be permanently banned for this.
Permanent ban is not a fair punishment for violating a chat ban.
I determine what justifies a permanent ban, and this is not that.
Salmon enforced the rules by banning him for 7 days.
That's all the further the rules require enforcing at this time.
You make a thread about transparency under this pretense of better communication and then immediately drop it to crusade to ban Kyousuke. If you're not going to be honest with your intentions what good are you exactly?
After much consideration, he has elected to step down from his position as Site Owner and as a member of our staff, and get back to simply enjoying the ride as a writer and as a player. So, to cut right to the chase I will be accepting the role effective immediately.
Now we're talking, Eaon. I can respect this, this is you speaking your mind and making your opinion clear and powerful.
I also have an answer: His job is to make the unpopular decisions because, time and time again, they prove to be the best for Bleach Gotei.
Add Skills into the system in 2011, activity rises sharply. Centralize Bleach Gotei under a single leader in late 2012, activity rises sharply. Nix heavy mechanics in early 2015, activity rises sharply.
All unpopular decisions opposed by a wide majority. Each time, it made Bleach Gotei better.

if I say I don't want Kyousuke to get banned, will you simply accuse me of the same or discount my opinion?
you are biased against Kyousuke just as Shun is biased toward him. this is why it would be equally as silly of me to tell you to "get out" of this thread since I know you hate Kyousuke
re: ask the Quincy if they're happy about Otto? am I happy about every Shinigami that comes through? no, but I'll live
we could sit here and argue in circles all day about this
Why go through the stress of running the site, when you have your girlfriend running things internally and you have the current owner in your pocket.
Holy shit are we approaching "Tova has mind control powers" levels of insanity again? Have I traveled back to December 2011?
I hope so.
See, Marco, I'm not sure if you've figured this out yet: That's still running the site.
The "stress" comes from making the decisions, not the effortless day-to-day drudgery.
You're proposing that I aimed to escape stress by...whittling it down to the stressful parts?
What?
No, no, the reason I'm here having an absolute blast is just because I know what it's like to be Tony. I've seen this dance played a million times and by people far, far better at it. We all know how it ends, we know Bleach Gotei will spin on, and things will continue to grow and thrive as they always have for the past six years.
At times, I felt alone in all of that. I won't let Tokiyo feel the same.
