What's the Setup?
Mirabelle takes a trip to Earth in order to attempt to better commune with her Inner Hollow. She attempts to do this in a rural part of Russia, hidden away by the trees in what she thought was a secluded part of the forest. Her session with Sadako is interrupted by a quincy walking in on her. Not wanting any trouble, Mira offers the woman a chance to leave. Sasha doesn't take it and fires the first shot of the ensuing battle.
How is this Legendary?
Mira demonstrates her prowess in Hado in the fight on more than one occasion. She uses Black Coffin in an attempt to kill Sasha and when that fails, she falls back on a spell of her own making. It's the same spell she used in the duel with Shigure but this time she's better crafted it and has more focus on it. Those two things alone aren't what makes the fight legendary. In my final post, Sasha is unconscious. She is at her most vulnerable and Mira knows it. She lets herself get close enough to see the damage she'd already done and is on the verge of killing the quincy when Sadako speaks up. They were fine watching the events unfold until that point, knowing that it was necessary that Mira fight. What wasn't alright was the lengths to which she was willing to go to when the fight was already over. Mira could have easily walked away, leaving the woman to her own devices. But that's not who Mira is. She slips into a part of herself that is very much like Beldame, a part of herself that is very vindictive and who was willing to kill Sasha for what she did. They see this and make Mira aware of it. Once she realizes, she's able to draw the parallel between herself and the spirit, and she's disgusted by what she sees. She leaves the scene knowing more about herself and the lengths she's willing to go to if she's not careful.
