What's changed?
Mira has begun to stand up for herself and, more or less, make a name for herself as well. The last milestone left off with Make me Sane which led, for me, straight into New Order. After Mirabelle became aware she had an Inner Hollow, she understood why Kionchi might have wanted to hide his own from her. That said, she better understood the man she was beginning to realize she loved and as such let it be known she would have voted for him, if the title of Captain Commander came down to a vote. In the end it didn't, and Kionchi wound up fleeing to Hueco Mundo, but she still made her stand.
That stand, however, wound up getting her interrogated by the new CC. The interrogation gets pretty rough for her, to the point that Kasumi actually tears out vertebrae from her her spine. Following this Mirabelle is carried out of the interrogation room and brought to the hospital. It's at the hospital that she meets her division's former lieutenant, and now captain, and she's given the title of Haganji. Shortly after his very brief visit, she's faced with the new Commander. Again. This time, she comes bearing a bento box rather than some grisly treasure from the interrogation. Kasumi heals the injuries she'd inflicted on Mirabelle and talks with her for a long while. Vizardism is brought up and she's asked her thoughts on them, Kasumi not knowing the woman before her is one, and she freely admits that she believes them to be slightly misunderstood.
In A thousand Steps Kasumi forces Mira to go pick up her zanpakuto which she'd disgarded in the Rukongai during Obsession's attack. The two share a bit more about their lives and what lead them to the points that they're at in their respective lives, Mirabelle still skirting around the information she's hiding. At the end of the thread she realizes the changes that her soul has undergone by the drastically altered appearance of her zanpakuto. She gets a bit closer to sharing the information and tells Kasumi that she hopes the invitation to talk will still be open some time in the future.
The last two threads are where she really begins to fight for what she is. In the thread with Shigure, she wants to better the division she's come to call home and demands that the person running it be better than her. She won't take any less from the man elected to take the reigns of her beloved home and challenges him to a duel to prove he's worthy. She loses due to her own overconfidence in the end but comes out of it certain that she's still capable, thanks to Sadako. In Sakhalin she's gone to Earth to try and train herself to use her mask properly, comfortable in the knowledge that she's one of the half breeds. Sasha calls her a monstrosity and seeks to end her life but MIrabelle stands strong. In the end, she isn't even the one to dispatch the young quincy. The quincy passes out from the strain she'd put on her own body and Mirabelle almost capitalizes on it. She almost snuffs the girl's life out but she doesn't. Sadako, again, pulls her from the brink and reminds her of who she wants to be.

The Next Chapter
I do intend for Mirabelle to work on her relationship with Beldame at some point in her next arc, though she's going to struggle a lot with it as she doesn't want to see herself become anything like the spirit. Sadako is also going to have to work with her to keep her on the path she wants to be on and help her work toward her ideal self. Outside of herself, it's hard to say what I'll be able to do. I know you guys have some things in the works for us, so I'll have to see what those things are before I can really make any more concrete plans.
