Its not for everyone. Its very skill testing though. Like...stupid skill testing. A lot of it is about conserving resources, as you basically start the game with 7 bombs in your hand.
Updated. Most of the Arrancar are done. Separated them into races because there's more multicolor than I'd like to deal with because DC-10 and shut up.
I'm probably going to be making 104 cards. That way I can easily print them off on cardstock and give them away to you assholes as gifts next year.
All of the planeswalker's passive abilities have been reworded to make more sense. Kiriko's temptation "Detains" now. Looks much more playable. Erasmus' Temptation draws 2 for each one so its actually useable in one-on-one. Obsession's Command takes control instead of bouncing once I realized its not that unfair of a compromise and it fits his flavor so much better. Amaya's temptation is worded better and her ultimate is better (but weirder). Hatred got a better -2 and his +0 is worded much better. His temptation is better written too. The twins were redone to make more sense. First ability is regeneration. Second ability is drain. Third ability is void negation. Fourth ability is half-regen and half-hivemind, if not outright "summon a twin" (sorta). Tenko and Kirishi's temptations now exiles itself.
Hollows! Adel is kinda like a blend between finkel and invisible stalker; very scary good card. Nazomi is similiar to Adel, except "locking people out" with psychological hypnosis sanity counter stuff instead of drawing cards. Sobek is kinda like his experimenting stuff and the fact he's a hydra? Kinda get a surge of water feeling from the reverse looter effect, too. Takua is like a more conditional...fuck I forgot the name of the card. Anyways he either purifies/heals or goes Prestige and burninates everyone. As a phoenix, coming back to life makes sense. Evelynn Seduces people then gets pissy at them and kills them. Its a Merieke Ri Berit in more appropriate colors for those effects. Yaksha infects people and learns from them as he grows stronger. Kinda an information broker thing going on with the cards in hand and a nod to his hivemind and evolution skills. Argus steals and makes his own crew. Tilly goes on adventuers and finds things. She can turn into water to prevent damage, but by doing so tends to lose whatever she was hunting down. Order of the Espada is self-explanatory because DC-10 needs more removal and counter spells. Souta charges up and punches things really fast. Cadan burninates, regenerates and gets pissy and burninates some more. Notchime throws fiery tomahawks of doom at people.
Oh and I just uploaded the last of the hollow-breed cards (for now). The next batch will include those characters I missed and a few for things like Cero, Hierro and some of the techs/releases I get inspired by looking through your mechanics.
I know Tyrant seems a little strong for where his character is right now...but having a weak dragon is just weird. His ability and having infect matches his power pretty well, doesn't it? And it actually kinda offsets his "power" given his current character's power; it takes him 3 swings to kill a player, sure. But the format is rife with removal (especially at only 4 toughness) and he doesn't actually hurt players the first couple of swings if you aren't too concerned about poison counters!
These were fun to do. Kohaku reads emotions. Kokoro supports people. They work really well together but, as is good in this format, work find with other cards and/or alone too.
I realize Kohaku's tap ability should probably also force the opponent to reveal their hand, even though her passive ability does that. Because theoretically one ability could be negated with the other ability on the stack? I dunno.
Kokoro isn't legendary was originally a mistake, but I kinda like it. He's just a familiar, after all.
Ability 1: (Inspired by Wall of Essence + Hex Parasite) Limb replacement. Because it only targets one permanent, there is a good chance you won't remove all the damage from Daisy Mae. Very much a planeswalker killer ("I attack; wanna block and probably remove more counters?). But not as busted (in this format) as Hex Parasite.
Ability 2: Arrancar of Sacrifice? Girl of my Dreams? Go go Saffi!
Design Note: I kinda wanted to do something like Spike Rogue that "eats" counters off other people instead. I get this very fun idea of using counters only because a lot of times I use skittles or other candy as my counters. And its Daisy. I was kinda tempted to give her "Vanishing" as an inside joke, but it seems a little cruel now. Although it would mean you put candy on the card and remove the candy every turn (so its like Daisy is eating the candy?). That's kinda cute, and it'd fit her self-sacrifice theme?
A big part of me though wanted Daisy to do something a little more "fun". I guess it makes more sense for an Evan character though, especially with that big "coin" on his wrist (I know its a clock).
Note that since you flip during your upkeep you don't get your normal draw that turn. The tails is meant to make sure she's not terribad.
Anyone else have any other suggestions for Ms. Daisy? The spirit of her character is very versatile, isn't it? Sacrifice. Limb replacement. Spontaneous silliness. Candy. Counters.
I know your trolling me with an intentionally awful card, but I'll fall for it because I hate myself.
The first ability is not an ability, but flavor text. It should be flavor text. To do what I think you wanted it to do, the second ability should be worded: "T: Jason Sanders becomes a copy of target permanent. Gain control of that permanent. At the beginning of your next upkeep, that permanent becomes a copy of Jason Sanders until end of turn." He's a creature without power or toughness and "Eldritch" is both misspelled and not a creature type. "Ever" should say "Every" and doesn't need to specify "creature/permanent" since all creatures are also permanents. He has no power or toughness, and your missing artist credits. Finally how you worded the second ability is such that Jason would lose its name and all other abilities it has printed.
Balance wise its underpowered for any constructed play (10 mana should win you the game and without power or toughness he can't do anything on his own and being a creature(?) he has summoning sickness for that tap ability) and overpowered for DC-10/Type-4.

I don't build MTG cards, so yeah. Those were legit mistakes.
Ah. Sorry. I've had people "troll" me in the past by making intentionally weird cards like that to insult my own designs. Its kinda a thing people do to each other in the MTG custom card community. They usually find a typo you've made and make an entire card based on it.
If you wanted a "Jason is Everything" card?
Jason, Everything 5 Tribal Instant - Eldrazi All permanents become a copy of target permanent until end of turn. They are now named "Jason" (this effect lasts indefinitely).
I've always loved storm. Yumi feels Grixis to me. Friendly reminder that this is balanced for DC-10. Where summoning sickness...sucks.
Why is it blue? Because storm is blue and blue is the color that goes halfway between red and black, I guess. It also used to be the color for creatures that tapped to deal damage.
First ability gives the spell "Overload". Second ability gives it "Buyback". Its much easier to just make the spell do what it says rather than spell out what the keyword does.
