That would require waiting an entire turn for Tokiyo to lose summoning sickness and then having the exact right spell in your hand while playing a format that doesn't use constructed decks. And you don't get to attack with him the turn you do that.
Meanwhile creatures with almost as much mana cost (and easier colors to ramp in) can already (basically) do that.
Oh and its not a plaguewind. It'd be a wrath of god. Because "every" does not mean "any number of". It means "every". Tokiyo will probably nuke himself.
If anything the reason he is broken if you can keep buybacking "Take an additional turn" for the low cost of 2 life. Fortunately I don't plan on using any time walk effects in this cube. And having a 6 drop creature combo with a 5 drop spell to give you "2 life: take a turn" isn't exactly game breaking. For 11 mana and 2 cards I should win the game anyway.
He is red for destruction (and having power and toughness above shit; also overload).
He is black for ambition (and paying life to use those abilities so they are balanced).
He is blue for knowledge (and buyback and overload are very blue abilities).
Blue/Red/Black have always been the colors most associated with the kind of utilitarian ambition that leads one to wanting power at any cost, usually via the ideas of blowing the shit out of things using people's lives/souls via a great amount of knowledge. (Also buyback and overload.)
Red can be fervor and destruction. Blue can be intillect and innovation. Black and can be sacrifice, ruthlessness, or (I can't think of a word for "willing to do whatever it takes"). I think Grixis fits him.
ah missed that then. and I would figure Toki was a Red card, he is like a Grandmaster Hado user? why isn't he red for destruction?
edit: I mean more red then he currently is, since he does have red in casting.
The kido spells are going to be their own cards. He can actually modify them. That's pretty nifty, I think.
Its the same reason everyone isn't exactly what their release power does. The more interesting releases and weapons and whatnot will have their own cards too.

The word is "ambition". The phrase is "power at any cost".
We're this constructed play, Dew would do something to do with Equipment. DC-Fun it doesn't quite...work as well.
So these are his different fairy plates. Its actually deceptively strong. Especially first strike with really high defense. Or first strike with the exile ability. Its pretty balling in DC-10 too. Might actually be too good...may have to change the first ability to be a "protection from a color of your choice" instead.

Dew needs the ability to give people counters. Sparkle Counters. As long as a creature has a sparkle counter on it, it becomes a 1/1 flying Fairy creature under Dew's control.
You people and your sparkles. I ought to make a tech where you sparkle for three tenths of a second before experiencing the light of a nuke from ground zero.

Well this is for a weird format, its not like we're playing individual decks.
Although it would be cool to play Commander with BG folks where everyone's Commander is a custom, character based, card. Don't know any online services which can handle custom cards though, haven't looked to be honest though...maybe the magic desktop programs can do that now? Haven't used one in a very long time.
