Going through an old email, I came across something referencing my Bleach Gotei days 8 years ago. After looking around, I figured I'd jump in with the "I remembers".
I remember when Hateshi (later known as Twinkie, but I refuse to call her that. She can fight me), Stark and I used to RP on the Manga Fox forums before they shut them down.
I remember when Hateshi, Stark and I were running our new forum and then Hateshi negotiated a merge to bring everyone back together: Bleach Gotei was born!
I remember Stark emailing me because I was taking too long to finish the coding for the new site back in December 2009.
I remember Nasin (Zozo), Artix, T-Mack, Koh, Bo, Tenma, Mikell, Kanda etc and all the crazy threads we had.
I remember having to implement ridiculous rules like OOC/IC differentiation because some people would ALWAYS write in character. Even in discussion threads. And rule threads. And in the chat box. EVERYWHERE.
I remember having to stick a freaking code word that people had to find into the rules threads and put onto their application because no one read the rules (to be fair, there were too many. I really should have simplified). Was it the best solution? Clearly not. Was I desperate? Very much.
I remember when you could level up by posting in the battle threads, but people were posting 10 word sentences and expecting to get the points, so we had to implement minimum word counts on posts.
I remember Hateshi leaving my brother (Stark) in charge along with Nasin (Zozo). My brother eventually left too because of school.
I remember the many coups that happened in regards to site leadership. A couple months after Hateshi and I had left, someone messaged her saying things had gone to hell and she hauled ass back (dragging me with her) to sort things out. This was back when we had a chat box at the bottom of the site.
Finally, I realize now how ridiculous I was back then (I semi regret going through the old posts of my Miyuki Amai account), but this was all 8 years ago, so I'll go ahead and wave my cane around and blame youth or... something.
TL;DR: I'm Speck, character name Miyuki Amai, one of the silent co-founders of Bleach Gotei, and boy was I a tool way back when. Any super old timers still around?

Hmm, that's too bad. I vaguely remember Hateshi (who everyone calls Twinkie and I just... no) telling me she came back in every now and again at admin request to help sort stuff out... Sorry to hear about your luck. You seem to have done okay?

let's not kid ourselves, TK only got post-prestige because between giving him it and having to listen to his incessant whining, it was the lesser of two evils
and we saw how well he handled prestige the second time around

But he DID have said accomplishment to his name, regardless. I've read kions stuff, isnt it good?

Good is... debatable. I used to enjoy it too, honestly, but then I actually analyzed his writing. Not great.
TK is better to deal with than Eaon or Collin, they really were bitchy. As well as prospector. They're whining was way worse. Like I'd rather read an erotic thread between Shun, Tokiyo, and erasmus where Tova randomly pops in than see the shit Collin, Eaon, and prospector in one discussion.

there are characters on BG which you read and go "wow I really like this guy" or "jesus christ this is such a bitch" but they're genuine, consistent, and believable given the scope of the setting and plot they're part of. Like them or hate them, they are—at the very least—well-written (particularly given that everyone here is an amateur writer at best) and enjoyable to read.
With TK you had none of that. It was a character that started out somewhat promising (albeit very derivative) and then its author almost systematically removed all the interesting parts only to replace them with nonsensical garbage, all while avoiding all manner of actual conflict and opposition with the excuse that he was "trying to tell a good story" and the implicit expectation that others should simply roll over and let him do what he wanted for that reason. Sometimes this expectation was more explicit than implicit, like when Nagisa and TK fought for the captaincy of the Second. TK didn't quite understand that nobody with a backbone was going to let him do just as he pleased when they had the advantage in-character. Indeed, TK's character couldn't and didn't hold up to the scrutiny that genuine interaction and conflict (a cornerstone of BG) imposed on him, which is why the achievements of the character amount to nothing but a big pile of failures and rejections in the face of characters who had more drive, more animus, and more determination than he.
People very often accuse me of hating TK as a person and letting this affect my relationship with his characters but nothing could be further from the truth: I was comfortable completely ignoring TK until I was forced—as a result of in-character events—to interact with him. I very quickly learned that his writing was not the product of someone intentionally trying to write a character who acted in a provocatively unintelligent way, but rather a product of a stupid author who didn't know any better. So every time his characters did something irredeemably stupid and he just expected to get away with it (again, because of "muh plot"), my dislike of him grew, until at last he set into motion a series of events in-character that would culminate in his character's death and his head mounted on a spike.
He was a person who didn't understand that actions had consequences, and for someone with so little charisma it actually boggles my mind how he was allowed to go on for as long as he did—writing the tripe that he did—with no consideration of how other characters may actually react to, for example, a weak fool proclaiming himself captain-commander (and in the same breath, a traitorous hollow-breed) in the face of extremely powerful opposition. His delusion, both in character and out, was his downfall, and it had been a very long time coming.
So I took his legs, then I took his head, and that was that.
edit so to answer your question: no, it wasn't good. far from it.
