Nope.
But Takua did just waltz right in, and take two people you were about to kill. And he's a 400 reiatsu entity, a Broken Royal, and even if (and I know that most of the Hollows entering are going to get slaughtered. But those aren't the main show) most of the trash mob gets killed. Along with 99% of the Hollows / Arrancar that join (that's a given since they are equal or weaker than the Shini of SS).
The real fun is in seeing what Obsession does. He's definitely going to be breaking in, that's no doubt of that. His spiritual power is top level, and he has the power of a Broken. So when he does break in, it'll be interesting. Or of course the more idealistic of Shini, may be right, And then it'll be interesting to see what happens when a Near God is denied his fun. I'm not interested in winners, just watching the show.

If you want a vision of the future, imagine a Shinigami sandal stamping on a Hollow-breed's face--forever.

XD. We'll see what we'll see. Just saying, 400 Rei entering a place where the biggest person is 370. It's simple math. That and as I said, yes most Hollows are getting curb stomped. But most isn't all. Still it'll be fun to watch. But yeah "We'll see what we'll see." After all from what I last heard, yes Shini won a Phyric Victory. But in both invasions, it was at a cost. And I don't know if any Transcendants are going to help this time. But historically:
By the time he reached the wall, aTova demonstrated a level of raw power far, far beyond anyone in the Soul Society at the time. To demonstrate he was even able to blow a hole in the Sekkiseki wall that protected the city, freely air-walking through the Seireitei afterwards.
This march would ultimately see 300 Shinigami dead, hundreds more wounded, and the survivors changed for life. It only ended when aTova discovered Mitsutaka Karahashi in the hospital. A quick confrontation left the Captain Commander with a sword between his ribs, dead on the floor. However, before the last of his life slipped away, Mitsutaka was able to transcend and become Wishes.
Unable to stand against a Transcendent, aTova immediately retreated from the Soul Society and ended an event that would become known as “The Great Seireitei Massacre”. Wishes immediately vanished after aTova left, with rumors of a garden in the forest out past the edge of Rukongai being his new home.
So maybe not far beyond. But spirit wise without releases he's still at an Advantage over Tokiyo, and his defense puts others to shame. Not counting his techniques, powers, or raw skill. He's still the biggest powerhouse in the game besides 3 others. One's on Earth, and the other is an Arrancar whom just waltzed into Seireitei like he owned the place.
Oh the last two times you dealt with a Broken was Severance severing the cycle of rebirth, (after sending in Takua, who just embarrassed the Soul Society not to long ago) and sending in Penance (who only stopped once she ascended). That's a fun history lesson.
So Hollows. Sure there getting wiped. But Shinigami without a Transcendant backing them up, get floored when Broken's enter the picture. That's just historical fact. At least as the site has recorded it.

Protip: Tova, the only Transcendental at the time, was on Hueco Mundo's side when we invaded Hueco Mundo
Mitsutaka didn't fight back at all when alter Tova arrived, he sat in his hospital room and moped about, and his second in command was curiously absent
Just saying, 400 Rei entering a place where the biggest person is 370. It's simple math.
very interesting

Hey, just pointing out what was written down in the history sections. Doesn't paint a really pretty picture. And what about Severance and Penance? Sure they aren't Transcendants, but when Royals crash the party no Shini leaves happy. And unless a Transcendant magically appears to make things all better, well. It'll be a first.
Yes, very interesting. Of course, that's not counting what both sides app for before the fight, the +100 Reiatsu Obsession has at his disposal with a 3rd release. Or Fujikaki's Ascended Bankai. Or the fact that Obsession has the highest Spirit Stat without power-ups, as well as an ungodly defense (again without power-ups). That I've read so far. That can actually help SS.
But then again, I'm a troper. But it might be one of the funny times when I'm the wrong genre savvy. But so far from what's written in the history of Hollows and Shini, stats, and the epic embarrassment of Shini I just witnessed in Time Stands Still at the hands of an Arrancar. Well I'm liking my chances. Unless of course you all purposefully let a Hollow get the best of you? I mean all that fighting and attempting to cleanse an Arrancar / Vaizard. I don't know, you all probably planned on letting them live all along , who says Shini have no hearts? That spectacle was just you guys's way of going through the motions without actually trying.
I'm sure if Shini's really wanted to, he wouldn't have entered and escaped Soul Society a second time.

given the participants in time stands still it should be blindingly obvious that it's very much purposeful, as it usually is when events of this (the rumored "invasion", that is) scale take place on BG:
mitsutaka didn't even fight because doing so got him transcendency, and the situation he found himself in had been carefully engineered
kiriko threw her fight because doing so got her transcendency, and the situation she found herself in had been carefully engineered
I wasn't around for the severance thing but seeing as I can't place any captains or indeed characters of note in that time period let's face it the situation was probably carefully engineered
hilariously there's a pattern in all of these moments, can you spot it?

Takua's time will come, of that I can personally assure you.
If anyone's putting his diarrhea-brown ass in the ground, it'll be me.
Grins. It'll be an interesting battle that's for sure. Although I'll save you a bowl of popcorn for after your fight, just don't die on me. That'd be sad.

All that was missing was a red faced Shun screaming, "NOBODY PUTS MINAMOTO IN THE CORNER!"
Thanks for that link (I'll be reading it soon). But yeah two times Takua just waltzed in like he owned the place. Really don't think SS can deal with a Broken. At least not if I pay any attention to the History of the races, stats and tropes. Still it makes all the "Shin are invincible!" people fun to read. And this meta thread is great for building hype.

Oh I can. But even if engineered. I also see that it was either ascension (threw a fight), or the effect of a Broken on SS that always spell bad news before then. And SS needs Transcendants when those engineered events take place. But still. History shows bad things a coming for SS. Even if it is engineered.
And I knew that you guys didn't really want to kill an Arrancar. That was so nice of y'all ^_^. And letting a Viazard traitor go free. Wow! It just warms my heart ^_^. It shows just how caring Shini really are deep down.

Not quite the pattern I was getting at
there's a player in particular that features in all these events
and that all of them, including time stands still, are only made possible by the deliberate inaction of one or more involved parties
hilariously this was something that was missing from the invasion of hueco mundo: the battles there were real, and the shinigami's victory was absolute as a result
the conclusion to draw, therefore, is that if shinigami lose, it's because their loss was planned out of character.
not because they were beaten

XD.
The deliberate inaction of one or more parties. Interesting.
Also true, things planned OOC are planned OOC. Still doesn't change how it impacts things IC. Or how history sees it. Even if OOC it was scripted so that Shini allowed themselves and their military might to be embarrassed IC.

Women.
The Siege, back in the day, was a perfect example of why tons of character death is pretty bad for environments like Bleach Gotei. It wasn't very fun, wrought with stress and hard feelings. Not good for a cooperative storytelling environment. We've worked with the result as best we could.
If Alter Tova hadn't come along right afterwards, I shudder to imagine the state it would have left Las Noches in.
edit On second thought, probably not as bad as what Obsession has done to it now. That shit should have been tagged NC-17.
