Memes aside, unrestrict him. If he's our most valuable player then there should be no fears. People complain? Ignore them. People quit because of things he does? Well, they already do that so no change there.
Restricting him is pointless if he isn't a problem.
'well if you're not going to permaban him clearly you think he's completely fine why punish him at all'
did i miss a page or something where staff ever claimed that kyou was perfectly fine and behaved? sanctions don't have to be all or nothing and i get we disagree on where, but let's not pretend we don't agree a line should be drawn.
I'm just curious here. Playing devil's advocate. Can you point to specific rules he's broken for me? I'd just like to see a list of specific incidences since we're drumming up permaban charges here.

Victoria was not banned for this one, singular. controversial incident. Victoria has a nearly 10 page IP file and (I've counted) I have fielded an average of 9 comments of a complaint-oriented nature against Victoria every single month since I became IP Administrator. There is a phenomenon known as grain-of-sand paradox which applies here. On their own, we look at each of these incidents and none of them are really that big. Over time, these 'grains of sand' pile up and we think of them as "Ohhh that's just Vic being Vic". However somewhere along the line, those grains of sand became a pile. We cannot point to one single grain, but somewhere, it happened. Part of the reason Vic was banned is because we have established we are now dealing with a pile problems, not just scattered, singular grains.
This, Jian. Just saying, the guy has pissed off quite a few people over the years yet people have been banned for less lol
I'm just noticing the fact that he's been one of the single most restricted members I've ever seen anywhere and if he was anyone else he'd be long gone.
